We are registered with The International Cat Association (TICA) and the Cat Fanciers Association (CFA) . We try to make it to as many shows as possible with our cats and kids. Sometimes they are local and sometimes we will travel depending on where it is cat shows are one of whole families favorite events. You can see our proof of registration papers on our cattery registrations tab.
YES!!! We actually highly encourage it because we truly feel the best way to get to know our kittens new families is to meet with them in person this allows the new owners to bond with their new Sphynx baby and allows us to feel like we can trust you more. The only rule we have is you are not allowed to touch the momma If she is resting and you are not allowed to touch the babies until they are walking around. This protects them from accidental falls, risk of infection and most importantly helps to make sure momma feels like she is safe. We will send lots of pictures and videos and you may request to come see your baby at anytime.
Yes! Every kitten that leaves our home will be backed by our health guarantee we will provide a 2 year written health guarantee for congenital issues and a lifetime aHCM guarantee. Buyers will have the choice of refund or replacement of the kitten. We really do care about our cats so please keep us updated on your kittens health and if you HCM scan your kitten yearly we will give you a discount on a kitten if you choose to get another in the future.
All of our pet kittens will be the same price regardless of color including colored odd eyed, gender or age. That price is $2000 which will include but not limited to spay/neuter, 2-3x vet check with appropriate vaccines, bag of food, treats, toys, blanket, pictures as well as a personalized kitten health passport with their name and picture. Please see our pricing page for more info and feel free to ask any questions you may have.
Unfortunately we will not be offering kittens with breeding rights. Each one of our kittens will stay with us in the Cattery until 14-16 weeks old. They will each be either spayed or neutered and fully healed before going to their new home. We do this to ensure our cats don’t end up in back yard breeding situations and kitten mill catteries we have had our share of dealing with some pretty horrible breeders and we want to make sure we are part of the solution not part of the problem.
If at all possible we prefer never to have to ship a kitten if you are within major parts of Alberta as it is very stressful on the kitten. We are willing to drive to you at no extra charge in most major cities of Alberta. If you live out of province we will be willing to drive out to you in anytime except between November 1st & March 1st depending on weather. We will even consider delivering a kitten into USA states Montana, Idaho, Utah, Nevada & California as we drive down this way for road trips every year.
NO!!! There are some breeders who will tell you that they are but that is not true. Although some people with less severe allergies (allergic to hair) will have little to no issues at all. People with more severe allergies (allergic to dander/saliva) will have issues. If you are unsure if you are allergic to them you are more than welcome to come to our home for a visit and see how you react.
Sphynx are EXCELLENT with all ages of children including babies. If properly supervised, However... with children under 3 years old extra care should be taken by parents that your Sphynx kitten does not get accidentally hurt by your little ones playing a bit too rough. Special care should also be taken with newborn babies as Sphynx are heat seekers and may accidentally smother the baby trying to snuggle. Sphynx are not more delicate that any normal cat they are just different. As long as your children are respectful of the kitten you will not have any issues with a Sphynx kitten around your children.
Yes well any animals are really if raised with them from a young age. Luckily your Sphynx will already come accustomed to dogs, other cats as well as a Leopard Gecko and of course our little zoo of kids and their friends. Sphynx in general are very outgoing, friendly and inquisitive. They often greet their owners when coming home from work and will follow you around like a dog they have an in your face personality and require a lot of forced love even if you don't like cats you will have no choice but to fall in love with a Sphynx.
